Thanks man. Went to the junk yard and picked the front lines and proportioning valve from an 89 today. Now I just need to figure out how to hook it all back up. Ordered all new ac components too so bodywork pictures should be coming soon finally! :headbang:

Finally got it drivable. Fixed the spring pockets and added shock relocators. It drives so much better now! Picked up a smooth front bumper at the junk yard and got it all put back together. Still have to replace all of the ac components and delete the abs before I start body work. Does...

I didn't take any more pictures of it at the shop but here is a feature I found http://www.truckinweb.com/brandpages/hummer/0613tr_custom_2004_hummer_h2/ . I remember seeing it while I was still in high school when it looked like this

Got the dash installed and wired in the new switch box. Now I just have to find a trailer so I can get it to the previous owners shop to weld up the spring pockets. Then I should be able to start body work. Planning to get the seats to an upholstery shop while I'm shaving the handles and third...

Few updates. Picked up a 96 model dash without passenger airbag in perfect condition with hvac and gauges for $125. It would have been a simple swap but whoever took it out cut the wires at the main harness instead of unplugging it :Stupid Me: . So far I've got the old dash out and swapped my...

Db rods is a pretty long trip from here. There is a lot of great shops in the Houston area that would do awesome work but I would prefer to pay an individual so I could hand out and help some and maybe make some new friends in the area. Minitrucker friends are in short supply on the pipeline lol

That would be awesome! I'm actually originally from southeast Arkansas, my dad owns a Carquest in Eudora, Ar. If I was in that area I would trailer the truck up to you and stay in a hotel until we were done lol. I was out of the scene for a while because of my job but I've been building...

Done a few more things but not much worth mentioning. I really need help getting this thing road ready. Is there anyone on here in the Beaumont or Baytown Texas area that knows what they're doing and wants to make some money? I have $1500-$2000 I can spend. I just want the truck to be safe to...

Got the truck running a lot better. New plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, and oil change. Now I have a few questions. Any idea what this is? I've looked all over and can't find where is should be plugged in?? What would cause my oil pressure and temp gauges to not work? Both needles...

Thanks for the encouragement. Been pretty busy with life for the last few days so I don't really have any updates. I did buy a mig welder Monday so I could weld up the spring pocket cracks and any other frame/suspension problems I find, then I will start shaving handles and such. Pretty exited...

:Rant:Went through a box of extra parts I found in the truck and there was two brand new control arm bushings. So I guess one good thing happened today. I'm getting pretty discouraged. Seems like every time I get ready to fix something I find a new problem. Today while I was checking out the...

I thought so too but lube didn't help at all. I just thought it was strange that it didn't start until after I started messing with the steering:confused:. I was planning to get Michigan Metal Works control arms eventually but there is a lot of other things I wanted to spend money on first...

Got a lot done yesterday considering I only had a few hours of daylight. Started by cleaning the MAF, then removed and cleaned the throttle body(I have never seen one that gunked up!), then put half a can of seafoam through brake booster vacuum line, a quarter can in the oil, and the last...

Thanks guys. Didn't get to do anything to it yesterday but hopefully today I'll have time to modify the seat brackets to make the 60/40 sit level and do a few other things. Forgot to mention that I'm a pipeliner and travel all over for my job and I'm actually doing all of this work in a storage...
