    Rear [13"] drum Brake questions

Quick update: the truck is back up-and-running, albeit with the rusty backing plate. Axle shaft & diff cover NOT removed. Appreciate all the help; you guys and gals are great! Cheers.

Any one using these LED headlights?

I've installed LED lights (from eBay) in my truck and can confirm that they AREN'T ANY GOOD pretty much for the reasons outlined in post #5! :)

    Rear [13"] drum Brake questions

Yeah, quite possible. Sure hope so if I ever get that far. I actually bought a new cover for it a couple of years ago, but also then didn't attempt to remove the old one. Rear [13"] drum Brake questions

    Rear [13"] drum Brake questions

    Rear [13"] drum Brake questions

Thanks for the replies. 8600lbs, okay great. I guess the wrong size wheel cylinder were in there since I've owned the truck! :) How do I pull the axle shafts? Can't seem to find any info...

    Rear [13"] drum Brake questions

Heya, a simple leaking wheel cylinder on my 1997 4x4 K2500 long bed extended cab 5.7l truck has become a [semi]-complete rebuild of the rear brakes. The truck is decently rusted here in the Northeast but has plenty of life left with a rebuild engine and transmission. It appears I need to change...
