Thermostatic valves for the TBI Intake

My 94- 3/4 ton truck has it but I removed the hose and flipped the air cleaner lid a long time ago. I live in southern NM though, not real cold and hot dry summers

5.7 vortec vs 5.3l or 6.0 swap

Not sure if mine is the nv4500 but I can say the 1st gear is already "granny" gear so I start out in second gear now

5.7 vortec vs 5.3l or 6.0 swap

I'm looking at a 383 turnkey crate engine for my 94 k2500 with a 5 spd manual tranny, 4:10 gears and 8 lug axles. The 5.7 tbi runs great but is lacking in the towing department. Since you've done this, would you recommend it for my drivetrain?
