Can’t hear it running. The pump is in the tank at the rear of the suburban.

    DIY: Cargo Area Partition

I’m not trying to be “one of those” but it’s your opinion and valid. Cool. I looked at the pics you posted and it ‘looked’ like there was some items that ‘might’ be better located into storage bins or containers. I wasn’t trying to be an a-hole, just offering a simple option. I thought it...

    Fuel Pump On Light

Has anyone put a “fuel pump” indicator light in a dash? (1999 GMC suburban) I’d rather have a fuel pressure gauge, but until that happens I thought maybe an indicator light. BUT just because the power goes to the pump doesn’t mean it’s actually operating/pumping fuel. What’s everyone’s...

    Rear wiring 1999 GMC Suburban

I was apprehensive to using the orange wire, since every time I tested it (attached the 12v accessory plug) it would activate the door locks. I left everything connected in test mode and nothing seemed to go awry so I made permanent connection and put it all away. Power to orange wire. Ground...

    Rear wiring 1999 GMC Suburban

I have the barn doors and door unlock rocker switch at the back passenger side pillar. I wanted to add a 12v accessory plug (as always hot) on the bump out of that rocker switch cover. I can’t find a hot wire in the back area to tap into. Anyone else do this mod? Anyone have a wiring schematic?

Any Advantage to a Suburban over a Tahoe/Yukon???...

Tahoe/Yukon vs Burb: What do you want to do? We have a burb because we have three 100+ lb dogs. We also do house/yard work and can fit a lot of supplies in the back. If we need to move people, it can be 8 at a time PLUS any gear they may have. I haven’t even talked about the roof rack yet. I...
