Cruise control, GEN 4 LS swap.

I wonder if one could use a Rostra cruise module for a gen 4 truck and try to adapt the factory GMT400 switch to it? Part number Rostra 250-9617

Complete Gen 4 LS into GMT400

I see a wealth of information on swapping a gen 3 411 based drivetrain into a GMT400 but little to none for the gen 4 LS with E38 ECM. Has anyone had success with integrating it so factory gauges will work? I'm thinking of putting a 6.2, 6L80E and wiring from a 2011 1/2 ton 2wd into a 98 1/2 ton...

Where to pass through firewall with wiring

Plastic grommets are the way to go. They will not ball up like others have mentioned. Can be purchased from any local stereo shop.
