I never did find out the Issue and it still does it. Same transmission and no rebuild. I think it is something with the motor. It shutters like its slipping but on an extreme scale. P0102 Mass airflow circuit signal low? 1996 gmc k1500 5.0
Have a 96 gmc k1500, 5.0. I had MAF sensor issues in the past and got a new maf that fixed my issues. But now I have a P0102 code and don’t know what is causing it. I bought a walker products MAF off rock auto and it fixed my old issues. If anyone has any input it would be appreciated.- RyleeBoh

My truck will not Rev past 3000 rpm all of the time
Really nothing I bought it last summer and didn’t have many issues till winter hit. I changed the MAF sensor but that is it. As it used to stutter and stall at lights. I got a new one and fixed the problem.- RyleeBoh

My truck will not Rev past 3000 rpm all of the time
I had the O2 sensor code as of a few months ago. I did not do much work related to the engine before the issue started. My buddy does have a exhaust pressure tester thing so we can try that when He finds it.- RyleeBoh

I do not but my buddy does. Last time I looked at my codes all i had was a O2 sensor code P0158. He also has a fuel pressure tester so we could do those at the time.- RyleeBoh

My truck will not Rev past 3000 rpm all of the time
I have a 1996 gmc k1500, 5.0 v8. I have replaced several parts. When I accelerate hard enough to get to 3,000 rpm my truck will stutter almost like it has a rev limiter. It will also do this in park while just revving it. I replaced, MAF sensor, TP sensor, IAC valve, cap, rotor, plugs, wires...- RyleeBoh

4L60E Transmission struggling to shift into Overdrive?
I have a 96 gmc k1500 with the 5.0 and 4L60E. It drives and shifts perfectly other than recently, after its warmed up it seems to struggle to shift into overdrive. It will get stuck at 2000 rpm and even if I put the pedal on the floor it will not rev any higher. Its not my fuel pump or filter as...- RyleeBoh
