    I went with a Four Seasons 10 cylinder upgrade on my 97 Express. Could not be happier with the way it works. You could hang meat inside that van on 110F day. Whatever you do, avoid the Sanden SD7H15 with a dual evaporator system, it is completely inadequate at idle and lower engine speeds.

    305 Vortec Cam

    That was back in the old FSC days, I remember a cammed 5.0L Vortec 5spd back then, IIRC may have been a maroon truck. With a 5spd 305 Vortec I would probably run an 08-502-8 myself. The 08-502-8 is similar to a LT4 Hotcam but makes a bit more torque.

    Manifolds are garbage, shorties are noticeably better. I have never seen long tubes cause a condition that would hurt an engine and I have tuned dozens of engines with them.
