    Probably Brandon because from what I can tell the overhead console was never a factory option in regular cab trucks, at least not in 1993 like my truck is.

    Since I have a regular cab it doesn't have any of the mounting points factory. I ended up cutting the rear mounting ears off the console and then finding self tapping screws that were just long enough to go through the factory console front hole and then two screws in the rear through the back...

    Interesting. Like I said, neither one of the gasket sets I got new or the originals I removed from my V6 had steam holes.

    V8 engines have the heater core feed up at the front of the engine correct? On my 4.3 it's off the passenger side rear, maybe that's why my original gaskets and 2 of the replacement sets (Felpro and Victor) both had the rear ports completely blocked off.

    I didn't know there is an internal coolant passage. The current Felpro gaskets don't have any kind of opening or steam hole for the rear passages though, they are completely blocked.

    It's a darker gray faux leather from Joann Fabric. I got it last fall. Other than I thought the darker shade would contrast nicely with the stock gray interior it was also on sale. I think I gave like $24 for the chunk I got.
