    Rear end gears, gauges

https://harristuning.com/Tbi/vssb-drac-calibration/ This is what I had to do to get my speedo accurate. however, since I have an ‘89 with a moonie cluster, mine were on the speedo circuit panel.

Which LED replacement for 194 dash bulbs

The moonie cluster has all the bulbs surrounded by plastic baffles. So, I would think that if there are LED lights around the edge of the bulb they would only serve to heat the plastic. A directional bulb would be more useful in my opinion.

1989 speed sensor and instrument cluster

The two clusters are wired totally different from each other. There is no ground wire for the cluster in my 1989 but there is in my 1992. I can't see how an extra ground for the rear frame would hurt anything though.

    305 Vortec to 335 stroker

It will with a sleeve job. Ive done it but its been soo long that I forgot that I had to put Titanium sleeves in and the block still didn't last long. I also have a strong 355 that used to be a 327 in a previous life. Good luck and sorry about the confusion.

    305 Vortec to 335 stroker

A Chevy 305 has a 3.74" Bore with a 3.48" Stroke. A Chevy 350 has a 4.00" Bore and a 3.48" Stroke. So technically its just a smaller bore. The 305 heads are 53cc chambers and can be put on a 350 to increase compression, but at the minor expense of flow. Plus the 305 heads crack easily. The 350...

    305 Vortec to 335 stroker

You may also be able to save some money by having your 305 bored out to 350 specs. If your block is still good perhaps you could just do a cam, intake, and head swap for 350 parts.

1991 GMC 350 TBI Engine stumbles and dies at idle after warm up

Have you checked the knock sensor? I had a '91 and the knock sensor connector broke. Every time I would stop I would have to throttle the gas and hope it didn't die. The ignition control module , or 'candy bar', also goes out often. I usually carry a spare ICM and a small tube of the white...

    Power window to manual conversion?

I swapped my doors both ways. The removable 'curtain' that has the regulator and handle assembly in it is a simple swap. If you don't mind what it looks like, you could even just drill a hole in your existing interior power door panel for the window crank.

    Stealthy gauge mounting options

    Would this help? https://www.ebay.com/itm/88-94-Chevrolet-GMC-Truck-Suburban-C-K-1500-2500-3500-Gauge-Panel-Plate-OBS/264405639440?hash=item3d8fcde110%3Ag%3ATtAAAOSwAKxdNMv0&fits=Year%3A1989%7CModel%3AK1500%7CMake%3AChevrolet

    Power window to manual conversion?

Power to manual is a LOT easier than manual to power.
