When you shift one of these trucks into 4wd, a actuator moves in, and pushes a collar together in the front diff. When this happens, instead of all power going to the open "unlocked" side because that's the side that's capable of handling the least torque, power now flows through the spider...

Busted Fuel Line

It's my experience, that here in Michigan, splicing a leak in a ****** line, generally results in a leak about 10" from the first one, in about 10 months. The dealer quote is certainly fair, since I'm sure that cover's replacing all lines.

about 800 miles after cummins swap and 4l80e will not move forward.

Unplug the main connector on the side of the trans, it should lock itself in second and move forward then.

They are kind of pinkish, not as red as I'd like. I got like twenty bulbs in the cheap little kit I bought so I'll stick them in the dome, map, and under dash tomorrow in the daylight if I don't sleep in until dark like today.
