my father's 454 vortec would stall backing up slowly up a hill. When we did intake gasket on it we discovered the fuel regulator vacuum hose had a crack so with no throttle the wasnt enough vacuum to support the load. Not sure if its the same problem but maybe.

ok so i have a 10 bolt open dif with 3.42 gears and 5 lug half axles
I want a 10 bolt G80 locker with 3.73 gears.
I know of rear end like i want but it has 6 lug half axles.
Can i swap my 5 lug half axles into the rear end with the 6 lug axles? And do the splines on the axles match...

So on my 5.7L 350 I was leaking coolant from that heater hose quick disconnect on the intake manifold, specifically passenger front side of the intake behind the alternator.
Got a socket and ratchet and that ***** snapped off flush.......
