I got a set of gt4 g80 axles for my truck installed the front and rear came time is put in the new breaks found damage to the axle tube on the driver side do they make a repair kit ? Or do I just bend it back out and hammer in a sealed bearing ? Any ideas the last pic is just because it was...
I went back switched all the electricals from old engine to new engine earlier and did ecm reset the only thing I haven't done is switch the distributor because when the rod snapped it flug up and broke cam shaft didn't know if the old distributor shaft was screwed or not
I've checked fuel pressure and flow also put the after market throttle body that was on old engine on plus new cap rotor and plugs and switch m.a.f and map senor went back through all grounds just to check
I have all the old engine parts I didn't reuse anything because most parts were aftermarket and above stoke figured they helped with slin the rod out of #5 I'll try switching the whole throttle and let you know also I appreciate the link I'll print out and add to my archives
I still have the throttle body from first engine so you think I should just swap them and see what happens I didn't swap any of my old parts to new engine because I believe that my idea to upgrade everything before helped with slinging the rod to much rpm
Does the truck have any codes I would start there but yes intake gasket can cause the simptoms you are having if the gasket is sucking air the ecm is trying to adjust I have had the same issue in my at one point as well
