    Yes. The V6 are very different. They are set back over 4" . The frame mount is rigged. The isolated mount is on the engine. Just the opposite on the V8.

    Erik My concern come from my ignorance in this. I think it would have been easier for me to understand a 4.3 tbi to 5.7 tbi or a 5.7 tbi to efi. Both going on at the same time has me hesitant.

    The ecu is behind the glovebox. I want my stock gauges to work. The engine I purchased comes with an MSD ignition also. My goal is to get it to run then remove everything I don't need.

    New to this forum. Looking fo some answers about my project. It is a 95 c1500 w/4.3l vortec, manual trans. I have purchased a 5.7l equipped with a FITECH efi. I have questions about wiring harness and eprom's. Do I need to swap out the harness, change te eprom.
