    SO I have access to some calipers from a '93 K3500, the same truck I got a hydroboost unit and MC from. I'm wondering if those calipers will work properly with my 5-lug front end, which I intend on keeping, If not, I'd like to know which calipers I need to upgrade to for my hydroboost swap...

    Brake upgrade- what have you done?

    See, I would do a -800 Master, but I'm gonna do hydroboost out of a -400, because then I can maintain a more factory look (fluid reservoir) under the hood, and that still should increase stopping power.

    2wd stock suspension du forum needed

    I have a good list of questions relating to parts and procedures for redoing the suspension in my C1500, while retaining stock ride height. I bet I'm not the only one who wishes there was a sub forum for this, and not just a "lowered and bagged" one, as I don't plan on doing either to my truck.

    Well I have grease inside my drum brakes, so looks like I need to pull the axle shafts, replace the bearings and seals. How do I do this, and what size bearings and seals will I need? My axle RPO is GU6. The truck is a C1500, 1996.

    Hey all, I want to convert my rear brakes to discs (because I hate working on drums), and still keep the ABS functionality, as I plan on towing with my truck? And want the added safety to prevent jackknifing. Also need to keep the parking brake. Who has done this, and what parts were used?

    Oil filler neck gasket

    So I finally noticed the source of my oil leak today while I was doing some steering shaft work, and it's the oil filler neck. I was wondering about the process of replacing the gasket for it. I've heard about removing it altogether, but I'd rather retain the factory look.
