    Im not even sure what year this particular tranny came out of. I know its not an 'E' as there is no mega wire harness on the side. The only thing I can see is an abandoned plug on the drivers side with 2 wires just hanging. My first assumption was that this was for the TC.

    Run the chromies, then put some plastidip on the insides to break it up a bit. Best of both worlds. Nice thing about plastidip is you can just peel it off if you don't like it. My Ultras are starting to peel so I am considering this route myself and have looked into the plastidip.

    Pumps just quit like that all the time. For a lot of us, its right after filling the tank. Run those tests and checks and let us know how you made out.
