I'm assuming my gears aren't the same from front to rear

yeah, mine took awhile do get out of 4 wheel drive too. Is there anyway to figure it out without pulling the rears apart? there is snow on the ground and I have no garage? Well I know the rear isn't posi, when you spin the wheels with it on jack stands they spin opposite ways.

So today was the first time I truely drove my truck on the road in 4 wheel drive. WOW!! totally scary! The roads were snow covered. It was like my rear tires were spinning and the rear was fish tailing but the front was fine. What it seemed like to me is that the front tires were going slower...

This question was asked on the first page but I didn't see an answer, What controls the odometer because mine sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, and sometimes goes backwards. The speedo works most of the times but sometime it will say I'm doing like 20 when I know I'm doing more like 40-45 and...

Need a quick favor

Here are the pics. does this look right? The passengers side has the shorter end of the center link and the drivers side has the longer end. Is the bend on the ends the right way.

Need a quick favor

I'm pretty sure I have it oriented the right way as far as passenger side/drivers side. I'm just unsure if it is placed on correctly as far as the bends go. That is why I was hoping someone could snap a picture of their steering linkages for me just so I can be sure before i take it to get aligned.

Need a quick favor

I just got done rebuilding the front end of my 89 K1500. I am not 100% sure I have the center link positioned correctly. So I was hoping someone could snap a pic. of their trucks steering for me so I can see how it is suppose to be. Thanks Jason
