That might fix it (Could not) as long as it’s an OEM or good quality ignition part I cheap-ed out on some awhile ago and as soon as I came around a second time replacing ignition parts I found a rebuilt disturb in my price range and it fixed it like new.
I would also check the ground for the rear lights if you live in salt areas they are notorious for rusting and becoming disconnected. That should be in a similar location on the opposite site of the bumper on the frame rail
I would check for power at the rear taillight pigtail. Should be a weatherpak under the bimper kinda by the end of the frame rail. Do they stay out or do they go back on over bumps?

Consider this thread closed as well bought a kit from Rally Tops and getting it painted at a local shop by November. I’ll post an update when it’s all set and done
