    I'd like to to go carburated, I know more about it. Plus no computer and injector issues to deal with. I looked at the marine intake. And looked into th EFI and decided I'd rather not put that much into it. Carburetor sound much easier!

    Good luck, I just got done fighting this issue and it turned into a big headache! I finally think Ive got it figured out, these blogs helped immensely! Great community. Any tips or information I know feel free to ask! I am going to finish up ******* with mine this weekend as well.

    The UMP fixed the issue, used my hold down. But something is still not right, doesn't like to start and lopes in idel in gear.

    Yes that's the one I got. It didn't even want to start. Sent it back this week, now back at square one. With the original distributor, that is apparently discontinued.

    The hold is install correctly when in the vehicle this is not my first rodeo. Plus my mechanic is at a loss for it as well. The distributor in the truck if your run the parts number on it. It is discontinued! And turns me toward the aftermarket, both of which wouldn't work. The Amazon...

    The hold-down clamp is part of the problem. We've tried to use the hold-down off of my distributor, and it won't even hold the aftermarket. And the aftermarket won't even work in it! This is the dumbest automotive issue I've ever had!
