I have been turning wrenches since I was in 2nd grade. My dad bought a pretty banged up 57 belair from a high school kid. took us 24 years to get it finished. when I was 16 we found a 69 camaro in a barn south of st louis, drug it home and started working on it. bought my first pickup in 2003 it was an 88 reg cab long bed 4x4. built a 383 stroker and a stage 2 700r4, damn truck would always fire right up and I wouldn't have sold it if I didnt pick up a 94 ext cab k1500 diesel 6.5 turbo. rebuilt top half of the engine, installed mandrel bent 3 in exhaust down pipe back new db4 injection pump with 80 over stock hp injectors. she has 4.56 gears and could pull anything you threw behind her. mainly used it to pull trailers and stumps out of the ground. still the best truck I owned. sold it since I had a work truck provided to me, and didnt' have garage space left. did some odd jobs for a guy down the road from me and he gave me his dads 1993 stepside GMC c1500 Mark III reg cab. had suspension work to drop the stance, custom paint and ground effects (it was a Harley-Davidson shop parts truck).
