High oil pressure. Oil filter gasket keeps blowing
There was no old o ring.. And I cleaned the surface thoroughly. Is the relief valve a part of the oil pump or is it separate?- Billiam

High oil pressure. Oil filter gasket keeps blowing
Hey I'm a newbie so be gentle.. Haha. 96 Gmc Sierra. 305. Started up truck and all the oil blew out thru the oil filter gasket. I replaced the oil filter and gasket. It blew out the gasket again causing all oil to dump out. When I start it the oil pressure immediately maxes out.. 80lb+...- Billiam
