Carbed 350 Vortec w/ 4l60e formally 350 TBI/700r4 ??????????????

i was wondering if any of you guys happen to know the color of wiring of the original purple/yellow VSS wires for 1988 c1500 2wd. And I have the pigtail for the 98 Yukon with 4l60e and the wires light blue and green. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im trying to swap my 350/TBI out for a carbed vortec w/ 4L60E into my 1988 CSB. My question is, since my truck has the old style rod linkage type setup for the gear selector and a newer truck with this powertrain has cable system. So do I remove this nuetral safety switch andjust hook up the...

How To: Ditch EFI and keep TBI PCM for 4L60E Control.

I'm trying to duplicate this same build and I have a question pertaining to the shift linkage. My truck is a 1988 with the old linkage type hookup on the side of the tranny. But with the nuetral safety switch in the way it wont mount up correctly, so question is can I remove the safety switch...

Chevy 350 Exhaust Manifold WTB

I have a set from a 350 vortec that I just got, the engine's code came back as a 95-00 5.7 vortec. I have no use for them, but I'm located in GA, don't exactly have a set price just make me @ offer!!!!!!!!!!!!!
