Towing Long Distance
with my 93 ext cab c1500 5.7 3.42 rear, had same problem with local uhaul, went to another in town no problem....note i pulled 7700 lbs with it (well cargo enclosed car hauler) had 10k miles going up couple steep hills it struggled somewhat but made it.. with over 230k on it now have pulled...- 93bluesilverado

u haul may not rent you a trailer for that load. I pulled 8500 lb enclosed trailer with car and parts with 93, auto 3.42 gears and did OK but struggled on hills. note was new when I did and trailer was mine. also local tx u haul couple years ago refused to rent trailer to me to haul 70...- 93bluesilverado
