Choosing a tire for snow driving

Cooper S/T or S/T Maxx would fit your need quite nicely, 255/85-16 is a great size as well.

Try applying pressure to them while tightening them, I always had good luck doing this with a prybar. Of course as said above clean threads will make a world of difference.

A STIFF shock you say? Try KYB Monomax, stiff but great handling.

XJ Steering Shaft Upgrade (88-94 Trucks) 95+instructions on page 31

NW corner of Iowa. I unbolted the steering box to get them out. Just like our trucks pretty much, 3 bolts on the outside of the frame rail and with enough wiggling and prying you're able to get them off. Only one I had trouble with must have been a Cali model or something, had a huge...

    Offroad Shock Thread

They are pretty stiff! Great control though, they suprised me with how stiff they are, but how well the rear handles. I bought the 1-3" lift ones because of being cranked and having 3" add a leafs. Was debating between them and the Bilstein's but honestly, I bought the Mono Max's because they...

XJ Steering Shaft Upgrade (88-94 Trucks) 95+instructions on page 31

I think the first two I tried I just couldn't quite get the lower part to come up off the steering box quite enough, I know it was close though. After that I just gave in and undid each steering box instead of ****** around. It was a nice day out and I had time to burn apparently..

XJ Steering Shaft Upgrade (88-94 Trucks) 95+instructions on page 31

Not sure how everyone else is taking these out but I was unbolting the steering box after I took both the bolts out that held the shaft in, only way I could weasel the shaft out of there. Pretty sure they're all standard size as well, and some of the shafts had 7/16 and some were 1/2.

Trade for my chromie? The Chassis Saver paint is incredible stuff as mentioned, very tough and looks great! It's not bulletproof by any means, I have already fugged it up but in a sense, I was trying to. I mean, throwing a fence post or a heavy rim used for bonfires is going to damage...

Wow, forgot to come back here when I was done. You'll notice I did a ty job patching the rear fenders, oh well. I'll do what I should have done to begin with, find a box in good shape and do that! Until then I'm going to abuse the out of the box on this truck, you know why... Just make sure...

I know for the price of the lube locker you can buy like 8-10 gaskets, or 5 gaskets and a couple tubes of RTV, but if you've got the 20 bucks this makes things really easy.
