Them 6spds are EXPENSIVE! My bro-in-law has a 03 2500 Burb with 6.0/4l80e and 3.73 gears. Unloaded he averages about 15 mpg. Which ain't terrible IMO. I pulled 9000 lbs worth of tractor and equipment with the 350 that's in there now and it surprised me how well it did! Just drank 3qts of oil in 150 miles! So I think the 6.0/4l80e is more than enough for what I plan to do! Plus my trans only has about 5000 miles on it!I think you would have to get a stand alone controller. All they guys that diss the 6.0 vortecs and say they are terrible on gas are the guys with the 4spd autos and 410 gears them 6.0 vortecs mated to the 6l90e 6spd's are beasts they pull like a diesel and if you got 373 gears you get 17+mpg hwy. I just wonder how to make that work in a 88-98 style truck. I'll have to Google more about this standalone kit.

Set it on the arm rest, marked it, cut out what was marked, and shoved it in, just don't get within 5" of the top edge of the arm rest because there's a metal braceHow you put it in?
