Finally! GMT800 style towing mirrors on GMT400.

Check Leroy Diesel, that's where I got my black heated mirrors with LEDs. They came with a 6 or 8 pin plug and the LED had its own separate 2 pin plug. I ended up yanking the stock plug and repinning mine.

I can't seem to find them on the site - any chance you could link them?

Found them on 1a Auto - 6 pin. Now just to determine what the 'auto-dimming' does to them or if that is a feature built into the mirror. If the damn plug wasn't stuck down inside the door - not sure what to do about getting it out.

Are you sure these are auto dimming? I don't see anything about auto dimming.

Those aren't auto dimming, just power and heated. I searched all day, no one makes auto dimming aftermarket or replacement mirrors. I'll just have to out what wires I need/don't.

Okay, I get cha. When you wire it up, could you maybe make a picture of what wire goes where? I suck at wiring.

They were only offered on 99 and up LT/Denali models for OBSs (Suburbans and Tahoes/Yukons), and Escalades. RPO code DD0.

So I have the Power, Heater, Auto-dimming mirrors (RPO CODE DD0). I didn't read through every page, but I want to make the regular power mirrors work (I can't find heated ones in black).

Does anyone else have these? If so, what clip does it have? I can't get my wire to come out of the door to check.

The regular power mirror is a 4 pin plug, power heated is ?, and the power, heat, and auto dimming is an 8 pin plug.

I'm running power heated replacement mirrors on my suburban since I can't find a set of power heated autodimming. The replacements came with a 8 pin block with 2 empty spots and plugged right in.

The autodimming is a feature of the glass, I believe it's called electrochromatic glass and is controlled by your autodimming rearview mirror.

Do your current mirrors still dim?
