If you're going to go through the trouble of putting a body lift on your truck, you might as well just go for the 3"...

If I go 3" how would I hide the frame? I have side steps. But body lift will drop my side steps far down from the body.

This is my truck with aftermarket keys, 2" block, 3" body lift, and NON-modified running boards.

Wheels are 16x10 pacers. and tires are 305/70s. Basically the same highth and 1" wider than a 285/75.

This should give you a good perspective because you are asking about pretty much this exact same setup.
Let me know what you think.

Hard to see but an idea of how much past the fender the tire sticks out

These next two give you an idea of how the frame looks. Keep in mind that gap guards would really help with the frame above the wheels. (especially rear)

Sorry for the number of pictures.

I like it. I'm going with the 3" body lift. I already have the lift keys and 2" blocks. And my truck looks exactly like that but a 4x4 and not a z71. And 265s on it now.

Same as mine did...they are on it now for winter wheels and they look super dinky compared to these

3" Body Lift, 0" crank and 285/75/16 on 16 X 10 rims

You can see what gap gaurds and painting the frame helps, I have no boards.

So are there any suggestions in 3" body lift kits. And what I should replace in the process of installation?
