I've got a '93 K1500 with new 285/65/16's mud terrains. Since I'm close to the mtns I'll be using this truck for taking out the dirt bike and gathering wood.
The truck came with rear airbags for the slide in camper I bought with it. I only plan on using the camper maybe a week or two out of the year locally. I've started stripping the weight out of it to bring the weight down legally, oven, countertops, and water tank, etc..
I'd like to have more clearance and also do away with the slight tire rub. I bought some Bilstein 4600's and bigger stop tech brakes for the front. I'm within the return window for the shocks but read these will work for a 2-3" lift.
Should I just crank the keys up and use blocks in the rear? The body lift looks a bit more involved, I'd prob go to a 6" lift if I went through that trouble.
Please post thoughts and pics if you have a similar tire size or lift.
Much appreciated!
