Buy hub-centric spacers that space off of the wheel hub like the factory rims do. Cheap spacers support the wheels by the wheel studs only, this is why they fail. Wheel studs cannot safely support the weight or take side impact loads.

Buy Stahl wheel spacers and Stahl only. If your budget is a little tighter go for Bora spacers. Don’t quote me on this but most of your K series GMT400s need a 2in spacer clear the factory studs a 1.75 may work but measure the studs with a caliper before you buy. If the studs stick out of the spacer you're bought they must be trimmed, proud studs are one of the leading causes of peoples wheels flying off.
This did occur to me as the spacers I installed were only one inch thick.
Installed ,lugs were "proud" of the spacer. This may be the reason the late
model wheel have significant depressions between mounting holes that more
than accommodated the protrusion of factory wheel studs through the adapter.

Hard to tell in pics, but 2” spacer on the rear. Tires are 305/70s on 16x8” rim, 4 or 4 1/4” b/s don’t remember. Having a flare on the front n not the rear throws it off too lol.
