When you are trying to squeeze out every last MPG, it'll happen.

Plus we have a deputy in this county who likes to give out tickets for ANYTHING over 55. An 18 YO girl lost her liscense for 57.

Then again, we have a guy who gives warnings for 70 in a 55.

I usually drive 57-61 and have never gotten a ticket.

Figured I'd update this my GMT800 gets 15 in town. My GMT400 now gets 17 in town guess aiming for low rpm power in the country has its benefits when you move to the city except the effin cops.

Stock 1990 5.0L/700r4 C1500 would consistently get 19-20 MPG on the highway all the way till 2010 and 220K miles. Motor/trans were fine even after that, just got bored with it.

I am surprised so many of you pay attention to your mpg.

I drive a 4x4 pickup and a 4x2 suburban, when they need gas they get gas. If I cared about mpg I wouldn't drive them.

Meh, it is what it is and I have given up on keeping track. It's kinda interesting to keep track of the $'s spent on fuel though....
