What kind of mileage do you get?

80% hwy and get 13-14 running 70-75. if i slow down to 55-65 i can get 16-17. stock everything. already have new fuel filter and air filter. pumped up the tires a few psi, changed the pcv valve, and cleaned my mass air flow sensor. hope that can net me a little better mpg. filled up the tank right after so i will see what it does.

Since I started keeping track in June of 2009, I have had 151 fill ups and 12.2 mpg. I have also spent $7887.39 on gas in that time.

After some minor intake changes my 13.5 has increased to a little over 14 unloaded. Last tank of gas when loaded was about 11. Been working the truck fairly heavy lately (fishing gear, firewood etc.) and average around 12. When it's loaded, which is about half the time, I don't think I'd have under 1000-1500 lbs in the bed.
This is the truck in my sig. K2500 5.7 vortec auto w/4.11s.

follow up-------i drove about 140 miles and did 70-75 plus the last 25 miles was horrible stop and go thanksgiving traffic. got 15.8.

Something is not right. My old 93 TBI with nv4500 got 16.5 highway running it hard. Unloaded obviously

My 95 is 2wd, It gets 15-16 town when i keep my foot out of it. Hoping for another mile or 2 on the highway.

I know something is not right, just can't seem to find out what exactly. Lol.

No kidding. I'd love to average 16+ again. Been getting 14 tops.

The 98 has been averaging right on 15.8 on the last few tanks, about 90% highway 10% in town.

I went on a hundred mile round trip the other day, and averaged 15.9 MPG. That's a new record!!

With all these numbers I don't know whether to feel good about my modest mileage or not... I DO like the throttle....
