Nah....not a nightmare. Not something I do everyday but no bad dreams here. I spent better'n 40 years herding stuff like this around the country...

...so this little triple tow ain't no big thing. This long-hooded Pete was my last rig before I retired. You just gotta know your limits, don't go extra fast and pay attention. As far as the wide swings, this is not nearly as bad as it looks. I could ALMOST go around the Mickie D's drive-thru if there wasn't a low clearance. I was u-turning in the bait shop parking lot And people say you can't back 'em up??? If you're paying attention, you can. But I try not to get into that situation by planning ahead.
Yep, the travel trailer has 2 axle brakes so there's that. Kept close eye on the trannie temps cause I ain't changed out my rear ratio. Looking for a 4:10/4:11. Only changes I needed to make was put a little more tongue weight on the final unit (the aluminum boat). It wanted to wiggle a little when I got up around 70.
I like my stuff long.

Hello everyone. First post here. A few weeks ago I towed a skid loader. I'm guessing about 12k lbs. It towed surprisingly well. Only mods are a Quadstar tune and Diamond Eye Exhaust.
first tow after the rebuild, pulled like a champ. think my trailer weighs more then the car lol.

That's a very nice looking truck. I want to find a 1998 with a diesel. Then swap a 6.6 turbo Duramax and Allison 6 speed in it. What are the axle ratings for the trailer?
I would like to find one like that with two 7K axles and about 20 to 25 foot long not including the goose neck.
