Suddenly the 238K on mine doesn't seem so bad. Reminds me of an article I saw a while back about a couple who got a CCLB 3500 Duramax up to a million miles.

yeah there's some million mile Duramax couple out there that hauls trailers around the country. But I think we can relate to this one a bit better. tbi ftw!

But yeah, those high mileage ones make mine and yours feel "low mileage" :)

There lots of million mile diesels out there but gassers are much more impressive to get that high.

I wonder if that's all original miles.

My 95 is halfway there but there's no way the engine will last another 100 miles lol

Just thought I'd share these I found online yesterday!

When he starts it up it sounds exactly like mine :D

20PSI oil pressure at highway speeds (watch carefully to see it) isn't great, but at 500K on the original engine, it's reasonable.

That's a local (to me) news channel that posted that. Talk about a small world. Haven't seen or heard about it but the Suburban is about 30 minutes away from me.

Seems like a lot of these super high mileage trucks are TBI trucks?

I want to stay quiet about mine so she doesn't get any ideas about breaking down. Vortec 5.7 original everything except fuel pump, water pump and tuneup items no intake manifold problems or anything and original 4L60E at 318K. It'll probably implode tomorrow now that I've said this.
