Have 3 deals on the table...

2 cooper discover m+s studded ~ used
http://us.coopertire.com/Tires/Light-Truck/DISCOVERER-M-S.aspx
Or
2 Goodyear wrangler Mtrs ~ brand new
http://m.ebay.com/itm/261346285453 (not actual tires )

None of these are the actual tires, just examples. Studs are legal in wv, so I'm fine there. My transfer case is out, so I need extra snow and ice traction. The studded tires are all half tread, but are evenly worn and have all of the studs. The Mtrs are brand new and have great reviews. All are matching my 245/75r16 tires. My front tires are worn out. I need some valuable input. These just need to get me through the winter... New tires come spring time. I need the extra traction. I have to go off road in the snow a lot hauling wood and suck. Plows aren't doing to good this year. Help me

Me personally I'd get the good year mtrs. They look bad ass. But for snow traction I'm now sure how good they'd be. So if I had to pick a studded tire I'd go with the coopers unless the master crafts had a decent amount more tread left. But I'd still pick the new good years and then buy 2 more when I could for the front. Haha

I would match the Mtrs, but I'm going with 285s in the spring. I could get all 5 of the brand new Mtrs, but I don't wanna ruin them. My alignment is fvcked and there is no sense in getting an alignment since all me bj's and tie rods are shot. Come spring I'm rebuilding it all and getting an alignment. The mastercraft have a descent amount more on the tread than the coopers...

If they are the same size as whats on the truck why not get all of the MTRs and run the best pair of tires currently on the truck on the front, Take the money you would use to buy new tires and use it towards rebuilding your front end then swap on the rest of the MTRs.
