the last time i towed a dodge van to the wreckers on a tow dolly it went across the scales at 10 050 pounds i thought it was using a fare bit of gas. what would the waight of my truck be emty 1993 chevy xcab stepside 4x4 i think around 45oo pounds mabye

stepside is slightly less because of fiberglass bedsides, but extra-cab will cancel that out. My RCLB weighed in at 4800 with a full tank of gas and nobody in it. I'd say you're going to be 4800-5000 because of the xcab and more electronics than me.

You could always stop by any truck stop around. They almost always have CAT scales that you can run your truck across for a few $.

i just put a new fender on it this weekend so now i have to add a pound or two to make up for all the rust lol
