thinking about lifting it want your opinion

i have a 6 inch pro-comp lift that i got for a wicked deal practicly stole it but anyways i was thinking anout lifting my 88 and wanted your opinion on how it would look it would be sitting on 285s because i just bought them but when it coms time for new tires i would be thinking 305's or 315's

it would look fine 285's are a 33 inch tire,I saw a truck today in my town with maine plates on it ,it looked like your xtra-cab but had 35 swampers on it even had the cherry bomb stickers on the window

yeah looks like it needs a shitload of bodywork he waved at me i stopped and looked at the truck he was in a store when i pulled in to see it

yeah thats zak we've been workin on his truck since march alot of weekend and late night hours went into that truck and hes doing it all out of pocket so hes been trying to get it all done he goes to uti down there

wasnt at a yard got it from a kid over on the 67-72chevytrucks form he was going to crush the truck cuz the lift was welded in in one small place so i traded a few things for it. it came with 38's and a 3 inch body lift to but i sold the body lift

theres quite a few guys from maine that go to uti i'm only a few towns away from the school,theres another kid that works at the scrap yard near me cody is his name hes from maine drives a 2000 gmc extra cab black and goes to uti i shot the **** with him when i go in the yard for parts,if your buddy needs anything have him find me i have parts and some good connections here
