Post a pic and we can tell you and no 1500 lifts will not work for 2500s. How high do you want to go?2 beginner questions, as this is the first full size truck ive owned....96 K2500 burb, big block
1. how do i tell which lower control arm i have? forged or stamped? i finally pulled part of the front end apart, and the LCAs have definite welds along the top.
2. Im thinking of a small lift or level kit. maybe a TB crank, or up to a 2-3in lift. most kits are listed for 1500 trucks. will they also work for 2500s? ie: http://www.roughcountry.com/suspens...cle_drive=3&vehicle_model=245&vehicle_year=79
Gt4 is 373 gt5 is 410pic will come today. its not going to be a hardcore offroader. either a leveling kit, or small lift, 2-3in. 265 tires. what decent kits are there for 2500s? im not looking to spend big money on it, as i may only own it a year or so. it will also be used for towing, typically 5K lbs or so, which im sure is nothing for this rig.
added question....how can i tell if i have 3.73 or 4.10s? whats the RPO code, or is it on the tag on the rear end.....if its still there at all.
Those are stamped. Imo you should crank your t bars and be done with it. Free and anything more the 265s are going to look tiny.GT4......damn. i was hoping for 4.10s.
here is the LCA
