That makes sense, since the evap. canister box is there. Right in the way of getting to the left front brake hose nut and bracket where it goes into the hard line. You can't really get to it well from the wheel well or underneath, but if that box wasn't in the way, you could go straight down to the nuts. I couldn't get everything lined up in the bracket, so I got the hose and hard line tightened together and zip tied it up to the bracket, making sure it wasn't in a bind. Sometimes redneck engineering is what works.....Plus some trucks over here in cali have a evap pump for smog right there.
If that happens, I imagine the secessionist movement would pick up a lot of steam....If Texas goes full Calitard, we'll know we've lost this country.
The trucks I believe. That's why I'm wondering for suburban or Tahoe's why didnt they have the option. Unless they did and my dad never paid attention lol
They did. My '97 'burb came with one of the underhood storage boxes from the factory.
I think I've read on here that 97 was the last year for them. But they will fit the 98-2000 trucks as long as they are 400s.Makes sense mines a 98. But that's awesome. I'm sure my dad just wanted the suburban and didn't care about what all came optional
