Hi everyone. Newb to the forum here. I thought I would post a few pics of my truck that I posted in the Intro section. I hope you like them! It is a 1997 Chevrolet C1500 W/T that I did a few things to. Vortec 305 with 3.42 gears and automatic tranny.

Thanks for all the kind comments. My plans for her in the near future are: 2 inch drop shackles in the back. I am going to test both 1 and 2 inches to see which I like better. I am also planning on doing a little more tuning up to it. I just replaced plugs and wires, as well as front rotors and pads. I am now going to be purchasing the rear drums, the shoes, the rotor and cap, and a fresh oil change coming up. I am also contemplating changing the tranny fluid. I dont know when its last been changed, so I might as well. Any opinions on the tranny fluid swap? Oh, I always have a corvette servo that has been sitting in my room for about 1.5 years and I am finally going to put it in. I didn't know if I was going to be towing anything at the time, so I put it on hold and never got it in. Those are near term items, in the not to distant future, I will be doing the hangars in the back, 2 inch springs in the front, and new rims and tires. Dont worry, they will be extremely tasteful. :D

Sounds like a plan, you will probably like 2 inches if you want close to level or 1 inch if you like a little rake.
I would say don't change the tranny fluid if you don't know when it was done last, or you will be looking at a rebuild.
ANd get that corvette servo in!!! you will love it and can still tow with it easily.
Nice clean truck too!
