The lights had mounting retainers on them that only require only one hole to mount to, so i pulled the grille off and drilled a hole through the top of the grille and bolted them up. It has a clean look from the outside and when you pop the hood you only see two nuts, a nice clean look IMO

pics? I have some, but I think the tranny cooler would be in the way...

Nah sorry Vortec Lover no pics at the time. My trucks at home and I'm 7hrs away at school :/ Do you have an aftermarket tranny cooler? If not, my cooler was not in the way

That's what I kinda figured you did. I have some lights I want to put behind the grille myself.

Thanks man, it'll be a while before anything new, but once school is out a lot of stuff will be happening. I'll be doing a complete custom exhaust from headers back as well as a PCM tune from MJ Engineering Performance
