No go on the S10. Guy didn't call me until 7 yesterday, after telling me he's call at 5. said he couldn't meet or something to that effect. Told me I could meet with his wife today at 5 if I wanted it, and he'd call me at 4 to confirm. Well. It's 5:30. No phone call. So I'll save that money for future projects and be content with what I got (01 Silverado) which is 700 away from 300k. May as well ride it out until then.
Side note: Shop said Yukon will be done tomorrow or Friday.

Sweet - Let me know what you think, power wise. I'll be going rebuilt, but I often am curious what a fresh 350 vs one with 200K on the clock with problems, feels like.

Night and day. I stuck in a crate motor first and was quite pleased with it for daily driver duty for about a year before the go fast bug bit me. Then came the cam and converter.
