Starter interchange

Yeah I have installed the newer 4.3 starter's on 70's model Chevy's, any SBC with the staggered starter mount.

I once put on a starter on my 76 Firebird from a diesel 5.7 truck it had much more turning power that was way back then.

Yeah that's a fact, and that's why I recently changed the starter out on DD, I don't like the sound of the old school starter at all!
