Hey Guys, it's been awhile posting for me. I've been accumulating parts for a long time now and can FINALLY get started. Sometimes life gets in the way of stuff we want to do. Anyway, I did go with the Little Shop kit. I tried to get as many of the parts together as I could to prevent redoing certain tasks. I did not have to remove the bed of the truck to do the brakes, but I decided to remove it so I could: do the brakes, lower the rear 2" more, fuel pump upgrade for upcoming 5.3 install etc..
This is totally stock, except for the 2" rear lowering shackles I installed shortly after I bought the truck about 4 years ago. It has Monroe gas magnum shocks and 15x7 American Eagle rims w 235/75-15 tires.

I had purchased the Little Shops kit because it could be installed without removing the rear axles. However, I found my rear pinion and axles seals were all leaking and needed to be replaced. Also, if you do not remove the axles, you have to cut the brake backing plate off. By removing the axles, I was able to unbolt the backing plates and remove intact. That way I might be able to use them in the future for something else. Note the position of the factory brake line.

I'll post up more pics shortly. Want to make sure I am not making them huge or tiny...If so, I will fix..
