So for an early christmas present my dad bought me some cab lights for my 97 ecsb, I planned on getting some anyhow but he bought these Skypods? I've never heard of 'em and I haven't seen anything about 'em on here. Has anyone else heard of 'em? They aren't shaped like the normal cab lights, and they are amber LED lights with white reverse lights. I'm worried about them looking fugly as hell if i put them on.

what the hell is the point of the "reverse light" all its going to do is light up your roof? :wtf:

I would return them, and get a set of OEM style, Pacer makes them in Amber, Smoked and Clear Lenses, i installed Smoked ones a couple weeks ago.

Just look damned annoying and distracting. I can even imagine what that would look like with snow falling....

@ OP: I know your dad bought them for you, but I would gently explain to him that you appreciate the sentiment but they're not really something you want to drill into your roof. If he's cool, he'll understand.

Just seems like an unnecessary pain in the ass to have to wire them up so they come on with the reverse lights. Cab lights are supposed to be a simple install.

I'd like to see some actual unedited pictures of these things.
