What about the Bilstein 5100?

No offense but KYB are notorious for leaking. 5100 like I said are the best for the money hands down. Shocks don't really stiffen the ride like your wanting to do btw. But you can firm up the dampening with different shocks.

What could I do to stiffen up the ride like I want to then?

Energy suspension sway bar links and control arm bushings. Bigger torsion bars to start.

Coilovers..? I don't see a point in that on a truck with torsion bars and leaf springs.

Should I do sway bars as well as end links?

That would definitely stiffen up the ride... But to much I would think!

wow those pics posted WAY too big...
yeah, kinda joking, but kinda not... with the truck empty, on yeah, theyre so stiff you go airborne from a speed bump. but driving across open terrain with a full sized spare, 35gallons of gas, passengers, etc etc... they do help catch you when that series of woops turns out to be kinda deep....
