Little bit of an update the video speaks for itself hah. Ill make the time to write more soon.

My exhaust appointment is the 20th, then the driveshaft place on the 22nd because my rear seal is leaking which may have something to do with what they did, and my tune is May 1st. Its crunch time!

Well an update on the timeline of this swap taking off from my most previous post of it idling in the garage. (apologize ahead of time for the multiple posts, can only have one video per post)

SATURDAY: So here is where I finally took it on the road with open headers and drove it, quite accomplishing.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Z_z3lwgFmA

MONDAY: And then when I finally got exhaust so no more being stupid obnoxious in the driveway, alternator is squeaking terribly got a new one the next day and also changed out my spark plugs right after this video and it ran 10x better.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gvOc0ya3IQk

TUESDAY: Then I booked my dyno tune for Thursday and drove the truck around my town with exhaust enjoying ever second to say the least hah. T56 shifts flawlessly, even without a shift knob.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zwcWuL5zNqY

THURSDAY MORNING: Made a snapchat of it cold starting on dyno day because it sounded so nice and choppy hah. Took the day off work to be there if I needed to diagnose anything I may have done.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFke2iDJAgk

Then Thursday I got a call saying my engine was losing power on the dyno, sure enough they found metal shavings in my oil filter and they suspected bottom end issue. So pretty saddened I got it towed home cleaned up the garage and parked it for the night. (buddy snapped this pic, I was in the tow truck)

FRIDAY NIGHT: Got home from work at 5:30pm and started stripping it all off with a goal of making it ready to be pulled the next day, I accomplished that with coffees and staying up till 3:30am that morning.

SATURDAY AFTERNOON/EVENING: Didn't waste anytime and starting tearing apart the motor as soon as the trans and motor where pulled. A buddy and I where determined to figure out what went wrong.

It was a rod bearing! We still have no idea why this happened. Anyways sold the block Sunday, sold my 350 that Monday and I'm going to go look/purchase another motor Saturday hopefully. This time around I will do things I found out I should of taken the time to do when I first pulled out my 350. My cam and heads from the old motor are still usable too!

Group together all the wiring in my engine bay, also repaint the rad support.

I've ordered a complete C6 oil pan kit for ground clearance because let me tell you even the dirty dingo motor mounts allow you to use the truck pan its not worth it, it will be the lowest thing on your truck.

Also bought this aftermarket gauge bezel while I was in Cali, I will be ordering speedhut canbus gauges when I finally get a healthy motor hah. Second time around won't be so bad atleast.

Also my Instagram is rickslinky so feel free to follow me I post all about my truck on it.(I'll follow back)
