I'll get right to it. I have an 88 RCSB... Will the bed from an ECSB fit? I have a feeling that the frame is different and the bed won't just bolt on.
Thanks in advance.
I'm working on it. Haven't posted pics anywhere in a long time.PICTURES !!!!!
1989 to 1999? More like 1988-1998 and "1999 classic"As long as it’s a short bed 1989 to 1999 will fit. The only time there is a difference is if swapping for a step side. Nothing swaps over.
The only time there will be a frame difference is if you’re swapping to a chassi cab. Usually chassi cabs are straight frame all the way through no dip/hump and the frames are usually a little longer so the bed will have a gap between the bed and cab. The frame is meant to allow for different types of service beds to be mounted
I've not heard the term "chassis cab".1989 to 1999? More like 1988-1998 and "1999 classic"
There are no shortbed chassis cabs.

I think what they are referring to is a Cab and Chassis truck.I've not heard the term "chassis cab".
