don't know about 3500s but 2500s are bolt inLearn somthing everyday. Mines a 2000 and my dads is a 1997, both K2500's and its been a long time since I worked on an older one than them. Is it a bolt-on lower just for the K1500's or the 2500 and 3500 also?

My 95 has the pressed in lower ball joints.
