Ratchets.... quick release or non release?

I hadn't given it much thought about the quick release until this thread. I have a short 1/4 drive ratchet that I use a lot that isn't a quick release. I just had the head rebuilt because it was skipping. I used it on Sunday and now I don't like that I had to use a screwdriver to pop the socket off.

I have a separate spot where I keep them in my tool box. They are there when I need to abuse a tool and don't care about it.

It's ok. We have all been there.
