...thats awful. Though I'm worried you spent too much time masking that off as there clearly are defined lines between silver and gold. Good god

I didn't use a single piece of tape, but it looked awesome from 5 feet away. I'm just a skilled spray paint master It was a $100 beater car I had fun with back when I was 19.

Honestly, I was expecting to click on this thread and immediately hate it. lol I'm usually a big fan of bed lined trucks... but I like it. I think with a GMC grill lined the same tan as the rest of the truck it would look good.

I didn't paint the battery, it was one of those early Autocraft Gold series

Looks great! Seeing your truck covered in the tinted bed liner made up my mind about doing mine. I'm going to try to stay with the same stock light blue, black bed, black fender flares, and black grill.

Sad thing is, that car ended up in the junkyard a month later with a blown trans, and a slight engine knock. Maybe I shouldn't have painted grabber green stripes on the hood and trunk and turned it into a race car!

Too much power on too little of a car, everyone knows sick paint jobs and stickers are where the real horsepower kicks in.
