It's all done! All the window rubbers are replaced, & aligned as well as can be expected. The top deserves a set of all new rubber. As the car goes from this shop into winter storage, there's time for the owner to order up a set before spring.

The critics discussing how they'd do it better/faster!

That's a '32 in yellow behind them. Not just any '32, but a Chevy 'Confederate' roadster. Apparently, one of only 2 registered in Canada.

A '32 & a '62! And about the only pic of me you'll ever see on the inter-web!

H/L from inside. Ready to start being pulled & stretched into shape.

This is how the H/L bows are mounted. The excess fabric wraps around the bottom of the roof opening, & is tucked in to be held by all those teeth. The bow pockets have been cut back to the proper length.
Front & rear of the H/L is glued.

Lots of extra material to provide something to grab onto while stretching the H/L into position. Most will be cut off when the install is complete.

And...6 hours later. After being heated, stretched & tucked into the sides to be held by those teeth. Excess not trimmed yet. I like to leave the excess for a day or so before I trim it off, just in case there has to any adjustments made when the metal trim is installed.
